Introducing the First Issue of Brick & Soup Can Zine!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the very first issue of Brick & Soup Can Zine, a brand-new queer zine created by and for our community. This project was born from a desire to share art, stories, and voices that reflect the creativity, resilience, and beauty of queer life. Each page is a celebration of expression and identity from poetry and interviews to illustrations and reviews.

  • An exclusive interview with a local drag king.

  • A horror short story.Poems about the self.

  • Book reviews.

  • And of course, beautiful original artwork throughout the issue.

Join us for our Launch Party on Friday, October 11 at Sidecar Market in DeLand, held in partnership with Volusia Pride’s DEI Book Giveaway. Come pick up your copy of the zine, meet some of the creators, and celebrate queer art and storytelling in community.
